This didn't really feel like a Josh book, something was different but I can't place it. This was both sad and hopeful. They lost 12 yrs and almost never got another meeting to begin with. Although the writing was concise and tight, I do wish it had been longer. The reader doesn't get much into the men themselves which hindered my ability to get truly attached. The equipment and scenery was as usual with this author very descriptive, yet; I don't really know much of anything of the MC's. I know one's Nickname is Stoney and he's darker and I know the other used to be brighter, youthful, idealistic. But, as far as their relationship I don't really get much. It would have pushed my rating up. Still I recommend.
